WhatsApp Group Rules

They’re really simple! We love to have a welcoming, respectful and engaging community. Please see an overview of our rules below. Thank you in advance for your co-operation.

Follow the Labour Party rule book at all times
As a Labour member, you agree to be bound by the Labour Party Members’ code of conduct. This must be followed at all times in our online groups. Particularly of note is chapter 2, member rules. Abuse, malicious communications of any kind, or unlawful behaviour is not permitted, and will result in disciplinary action and removal.

Respect Privacy & Privileged Information
Access to these groups may provide access to privileged information, such as members’ contact details, party strategy, or other material which should not be shared with others. Breaching this will result in removal.

Tolerant debate is welcomed
The cornerstone of politics is debating contentious issues. This is welcomed, however please be mindful and courteous of fellow members – it is okay to disagree.

Respect Curfews
Some groups have curfews to make sure messages aren’t disturbing us overnight. Please respect these and aid in a restful night’s sleep for everyone! Thank you.
