Your Labour Party Candidate for Rothbury

Mary has lived in Northumberland for 30 years, and is passionate about improving life for local people. She raised her children in Northumberland, and until recently worked across the county as a Child Protection Social Worker. She’s passionate about tackling the unique challenges of rural life, and supporting the local community.

My name is Adelina Goddard, and I’m the Labour party candidate for the local elections for Shilbottle ward. I live in Longframlington, and I’m passionate about the area. If elected I will:

  • Hold regular surgeries, be contactable and responsive.
  • Fight for a better run council
  • Make sure our kids get the best start in life
  • Drive local investment, and support local businesses.

Liz is a dedicated, local community leader having served as councillor for Lynemouth since 2017. Liz has lived in Lynemouth for many years, working in the local school for over 25 of these, and now contributing to the School’s development as a governor.

Mark is passionate about the community that he’s lived in for over a decade. His children were raised locally, and he was married locally too. He currently works for a National Charity housing vulnerable people, after having previously worked as a Firefighter.

Joanne Crumplin

Your Labour Party Candidate for Morpeth North

Jo has lived in the North East since 1989, and is a proud Bullers Green resident. Working and living locally, Jo has also stood up for others as a USDAW Union Rep for over 12 years, and an USDAW National Executive Councillor for 4 years.

Jo’s passion and dedication is evident in her hard work meeting residents on the doorstep across Morpeth, and as a councillor she will champion your voice at County Hall.

Vicky Oakley

Your Labour Party Candidate for Pegswood

Vicky is the Chair of Pegswood Parish Council, and and has been a Parish Councillor since 2021. She lives locally with her family, and is a foster carer. Her priorities are as follows:

  • Local roads and paths aren’t being maintained to the level they should be. I will work hard to address this if elected.
  • Pegswood needs a Secondary School to accommodate local children and families.
  • With anti-social behaviour on the rise, so I will prioritise increased community policing and youth engagement.
  • I want to ensure developers are held to account and invest in our local services.

Ian Lindley

Your Labour and Co-operative Party Candidate for Morpeth Stobhill

Ian served as County Councillor for Stobhill Ward between 2007 and 2017. During this time, he set up community facilities, the football pitch at Stobhill Grange and the MUGA Facility in the Avenues. He also helped set up Stobhill link, and supported the re-development of Morpeth Train Station & its car parks.

If elected, Ian would prioritise developing Stobhill’s regeneration plan, which he produced during his previous term, and working hard to represent and support residents across the ward.

Brooke is a Morpeth lass, and works locally managing the highly successful Northumberland Community Enterprise Charity, supporting the economy and combatting social issues. Brooke is honest, passionate about the community, and committed to helping others – skills she hopes to take forward if elected councillor.
